Questions and answers
Straight answers about what the app does and doesn't do.
Where can I sell ebooks and other digital products?
Common choices are Etsy for printables, Gumroad and Payhip for ebooks and guides, and Amazon Kindle for books. Before you pick one, check that it can pay you in your country, since some rely on Stripe, which isn't available everywhere. Product Idea Kit also gives you a sales page prompt, so you can sell from your own page.
Can I sell an ebook made with AI?
Yes, most platforms allow it, but read each one's rules. Amazon Kindle, for example, asks you to say when content is AI-generated. What matters most is that the ebook is useful and accurate for a specific reader. Product Idea Kit's prompts carry each idea's audience, problem, promise, outline and safety notes, so the AI doesn't write a generic book.
How do I validate a product idea before I make it?
Check two things: that people search for the problem, and that they'd pay for your version of the solution. Search data covers the first. Product Idea Kit's validation covers the second: it scores demand, category, visible results and trust at your price, multiplies the scores so one weak area pulls the whole offer down, and rewrites the offer to fix the weakest one. How the method works.
How is the opportunity score calculated?
In code, not by the AI. The score from 1 to 100 combines the real monthly searches for each idea's phrases, how crowded the market is, and how much work the product takes. The AI only supplies inputs such as the competition level, and has to give a reason for any bonus points.
How long should an ebook be?
It depends on what the reader needs. In Product Idea Kit's prompts, a paid ebook is 25–40 pages (about 8,000–12,000 words), a shorter guide is 15–20 pages, and a free lead magnet is 8–12 pages. Go shorter when the reader wants one quick result, and longer for a full step-by-step plan.
Where does the search data come from? Is it made up by AI?
Search volumes come from Google Ads keyword data, the same Google data that keyword research tools use. The AI writes the words; code inserts the numbers. If there's no data for a phrase, the app shows “(est.)” or “No volume data” instead of a number.
Is Product Idea Kit a make-money-online scheme?
No. It's a research and planning tool for digital products. It shows real search data and tests your offer, but it doesn't promise sales or income. What you make, where you sell it and how you market it is up to you.
Do I need to be an expert to sell an ebook?
No, but you need to be honest about what you know. The validation asks about your real experience and shapes the offer around it. If you have no credentials, it won't invent any; it suggests honest ways to build trust instead.
Which AI tool do I need?
One AI chat that accepts long prompts, such as Claude. You stay in Product Idea Kit until you have everything (ideas, validation and prompts), then paste the prompts into your AI tool once. The prompts are plain text, so they work in the tool you already use.
Does it work in Spanish?
Yes. The app and every result work in English or Spanish. Search phrases and volumes always come from US Google data and are shown in English, exactly as Google reports them.
What happens if a search or validation fails?
You see an error and a Try again button, and the failed run doesn't count against your monthly allowance. Your earlier results stay saved in History.
Can I cancel my plan?
Yes, anytime. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you paid for, and your past results stay in History. See the plans.
