How Product Idea Kit checks an idea
Most first products miss because the topic and the offer were guesses. Here is what the app checks, and where each number comes from.
Web research and real search data
The app searches the web for the problems, questions and sub-topics people raise around your topic, and turns them into 5 product ideas.
For each idea it looks up monthly US Google search volumes from Google Ads keyword data. The AI writes the words; code inserts the numbers. With no data, the card says “(est.)” or “No volume data”.
The opportunity score (1 to 100) is calculated in code with a fixed rubric, from search interest, competition and how hard the product is to make.
Offer Viability: D × C × O × P
Each variable is scored from 1 to 10 and the four are multiplied. One weak score pulls the whole offer down, so the test shows which one to fix first.
- D
Latent demand
Do people already want this without being taught to?
- C
Category legibility
Can a buyer place it in a category they know, at a glance?
- O
Outcome and economics
Is the result easy to see, and worth the price next to free alternatives?
- P
Payment normalization
Given free content and your own credibility, is it normal for buyers to pay you for this?
In the sample search, the best idea scored D 9 · C 8 · O 8 · P 4, a total of 2,304. The weak point was P, and the report shows how to fix it. See that report
Prompts for your AI tool
From the research and the test, the app writes prompts for the ebook (an editable HTML ebook first, then a print-ready PDF), the sales page and the ad creatives. You get one set for the original idea and one for the tested version, and you paste them into Claude or another AI tool once.
