In plain language: we don't sell or share your information or your email address. When you sign up, we'll also send you tips and product updates by email. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing doesn't affect your account.
The topics, niches and business details you enter in Product Idea Kit are used only to generate your results. They are never sold, shared with other users, used for someone else's ideas, or turned into public examples or case studies without your permission.
This policy explains what we collect when you use Product Idea Kit at productideakit.com (the "Service"), why, who helps us process it, and your rights.
Definitions
- Company ("we", "us", "our") means Felipe Suarez, Aeropost Way, SJO-25435, Miami, Florida 33206, United States.
- Personal Data is any information about an identified or identifiable person.
- Service Provider means a company that processes data on our behalf to run the Service.
- Usage Data is data collected automatically when you use the Service (for example, pages visited).
- You means the person using the Service.
What we collect
Account data
- Your email address (to sign you in and contact you about your account).
- Your language choice (English or Spanish).
What you enter in the app
- Seed topics and niches for idea searches.
- Your answers to the validation questions: planned price, experience level, and main traffic channel.
- The results generated for you (ideas, validation reports, prompts), saved to your account so you don't lose them.
Billing data
- Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We don't see or store your full card details. We receive your plan, subscription status and a customer ID.
Newsletter
- If you join the newsletter or waitlist without an account, your email address and language.
Messages you send us
- If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message, so we can reply.
Usage data
- Basic, privacy-friendly analytics through Vercel Web Analytics: pages visited, referrer, country, device and browser type. It doesn't use cookies to track you across sites.
- Google Analytics on our public pages: pages visited, how you arrived, approximate location, device and browser type. It uses cookies and a random identifier to tell visits apart. We don't send Google your name, email address or anything you type in the app.
- Technical logs (errors, how long a search took) to keep the Service working. These logs don't include what you typed.
Cookies
We use the cookies needed to run the Service: a sign-in session cookie, a cookie that remembers your language, and one that remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. Google Analytics also sets its own cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) to count visits. You can block them in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on, and the Service still works. We don't use advertising cookies.
How we use your data
- To provide the Service: sign you in, run your searches and validations, save your results.
- To manage your plan and allowance.
- To email you about your account (sign-in links, and service messages such as "your validation is ready").
- To send you tips, product updates and offers related to Product Idea Kit, based on whether you have a paid plan and your language. You can unsubscribe from these at any time with the link in each email; account emails like sign-in links still arrive.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
- To understand overall usage and improve the Service.
We don't use your inputs or results to train AI models, and we don't show them to other users. The operator of the Service can see account and usage data (email, plan, searches, validations and their cost) on an internal admin page, only to run the Service, give support, prevent abuse and manage costs.
Who processes your data
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the Service. Each one may use it only to provide its service to us:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of the Company, our users or the public.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data and saved results while your account is open. If you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except what we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.
If you join the waitlist for paid plans, we keep your email to tell you when they launch. You can ask to be removed at any time. When you delete your account, we also remove you from our email lists. Analytics and technical logs are kept for a shorter time.
Transfers
Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from yours. By using the Service you agree to this transfer. We take reasonable steps to protect your data wherever it's processed.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls that keep each user's data private to them. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you.
- Correct it.
- Delete it (or delete your account).
- Give you a copy of your saved results.
Contact us through our contact page. We'll respond within 45 days, and may extend once by another 45 days with notice.
California residents (CCPA)
We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. The categories we collect are: identifiers (email address), commercial information you submit (topics, prices, business details), and internet activity (usage data). We collect them from you directly and automatically when you use the Service, and use them only for the purposes listed above. You have the right to know, to delete, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. Since we don't sell personal information, there's no separate opt-out of sale.
Do Not Track
The Service doesn't respond to Do Not Track signals. We don't track you across other websites for advertising.
Children
The Service is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
Links to other websites
The Service may link to other sites we don't control. Check their privacy policies.
Changes
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
